Arvada West High School- Home of the Wildcats!
We are proud of the rich tradition of academic and athletic success within our student population. A-West sponsors 19 sports, competing at the CHSAA 5A level. We also showcase almost 40 different clubs & activities for our students to get involved with. If you are a home-schooled athlete, or if you attend a Jeffco private and/or charter school, we welcome you to join our Wildcat Athletic programs.
Participation in athletics and activities at Arvada West High School is a privilege, not a right. To participate, students are required to meet standards of personal behavior and academic performance. In this regard, Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) and its members may exercise the fullest discretion permitted under the law. Please refer to the CHSAA Bylaws & Handbook and the AWHS Athletic Director and/or Activities Director for specific clarification in areas of athletic discipline code, age, semester, practices and transfer rules.
